Award

The Lithuanian Comparative Literature Association established an award in 2022, which is presented every two years to a Lithuanian or foreign scholar for comparative activities and scholarly works over the past five years, in which Lithuanian literature is one of the comparative elements.

• The 2024 LCLA Award has been presented to Prof Dr Aušra Jurgutienė, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore, for her monograph Notes on Deconstructive Readings and for her longstanding efforts to foster theoretical awareness in the field of Lithuanian literary studies.

• The 2022 LCLA Award was presented to Prof Dr Kęstutis Nastopka for his research of lasting value, which masterfully combines literary comparative studies and semiotics.
